Cypress Bend Real Estate Development LLC broke ground in March on a $48-million 24-acre office park in Covington. The development will include a four-story, 105,000-square-foot Class A office building, an adjoining executive conference center and a 52,000-square-foot health club.
The Lemoine Co. of Lafayette is the contractor on the project. The new office park will be off Ochsner Boulevard near the intersection of Interstate 12 and Louisiana Highway 21.
LLOG Exploration Co. of Metairie will move its company headquarters to Covington and will occupy two floors of the new office building. The move will result in more than 100 LLOG employees being located in St. Tammany Parish.
There is 58,736 square feet of office space available for lease, and construction is scheduled for completion in February 2009. The project is being developed, managed and leased by Metairie-based Property One Inc.
Also planned with the development is Stone Creek Club & Spa, a 52,000-square-foot health club scheduled to open in March 2009.
