G. Pratt Provosty
Multi-Family Investment Specialist
A 1987 graduate of Vanderbilt University with a BA in Economics, Pratt began his real estate career as a commercial real estate broker in Nashville, TN, specializing in tenant and landlord representation for office and retail properties.
In 1988 Pratt joined Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. as an Asset Manager in Nashville, TN. and later in Atlanta, Ga. responsible for various portfolios consisting of over 3.5 million square feet of office, retail, and industrial properties, over 2,500 apartment units, hotels, golf courses and single-family developments. In 1995 Pratt transitioned to the mortgage production group within MetLife Real Estate as an underwriter and originator. He was involved in the financing of over $100 Million Dollars worth of income producing real estate.
In 1997 Pratt moved to his hometown of New Orleans, La. to join Standard Mortgage Corp. as a loan originator in their income loan department specializing in multifamily lending. His responsibilities included developing client/borrower relationships and coordinating and participating in all aspects of the loan process from origination and underwriting to closing and loan delivery. Pratt’s concentration was in representing the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and various conduit loan programs. While at Standard Mortgage, Pratt was responsible for originating loan business throughout Louisiana and Mississippi.
Pratt has spearheaded the development and/or acquisition of over 1,000 apartment units since 1999. Since the formation of PPQ Development in 2007, Pratt has also participated in the development and/or acquisition of 200,000 square feet of office and special use commercial properties.
Since 2001, Pratt has served on the board of directors of the YMCA of New Orleans, where he is first currently Board Chair. Otherwise, you can find Pratt spending time with his wife and two boys, playing tennis or hunting and fishing.
Paul F. Dastugue, III
CPM
A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a graduate of the University of New Orleans (Bachelor of Science – Business Administration), Paul has been involved in Property Leasing and Management since 1973. Paul’s activities include Office Buildings, Shopping Centers, Apartments and Condominiums as well as commercial development and facility management.
In 1985, Paul and his brother, State Representative Quentin D. Dastugue, CCIM, founded Property One, Inc., now considered one of Louisiana’s largest and most successful real estate firms with a portfolio of real estate across the Southeast.
Paul is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and achieved the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation. He is a former State Chapter President and the first CPM from Louisiana to be selected Regional Vice President of IREM.
Appointed to the Louisiana Real Estate Commission he chaired the education and research committee and was responsible for the implementation and publication of market research and analysis projects across the State that now serve in-state and out-of-state users with detailed information on office, retail, industrial and multi-family properties.
Paul served as the founding President of the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the New Orleans Board of REALTORS and is a past recipient of its “Service to the Industry” award.
He also received the Small Business Champion Award from the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Entrepreneurial Success Award by the State of Louisiana Department of Economic Development. IREM Louisiana recognized Paul with the Certified Property Manager of the Year Award and the University of New Orleans honored Paul with its “Alumnus of the Year” from the College of Business as well as the “Richard J. Stillman Lifetime Achievement Award” for his dedication to academics, students and the cultural enhancement of University life.
He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi.
Quentin Dastugue
CCIM
Quentin Dastugue, one of the founding partners of Property One, Inc., is Chief Executive Officer. His thirty-one years in commercial real estate have included leasing, investment sales, development, property management, construction project management and consulting.
During this same period, he served four consecutive terms as a Louisiana State Representative and, as Chairman of the House Committee on Transportation, Highways and Public Works, was responsible for the passage of the state Transportation Trust Fund. He was given one of eleven prestigious “Legislator of the Year” national awards in 1994. In 1995, he was the Republican nominee Candidate for Governor.
Quentin attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and earned a degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation in 1977, he returned to his native New Orleans and assumed a position as Commercial Leasing Manager for Medallion Management, Inc. with responsibilities for office buildings and shopping centers.
Quentin has served on numerous civic organizations and real estate industry committees and has received many honors, including the Jefferson Board of Realtors “Realtor Associate of the Year.” Quentin serves on the Board of Directors of The Audubon Institute, the Board of Directors of the Idea Village and serves as Co-chairman of the “Top 10 by 2010” initiative and Co-chairman of the Chamber’s Intermodal Transportation Committee.
He is a graduate of the Loyola University Institute of Politics and has been a youth basketball and softball coach for over twenty years.
